Indie Short Fest announced the nominations of August 2019, and The Contested Edge was among the finalists, competing in 62 different categories.

Innocent Boy, directed by Brock Cravy, was nominated for:

"Best Acting Ensemble

"Best Production Design"

"Best Editing"

"Best Sound Design"

"Best Special FX"

"Best Special Makeup"
